I have been informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a claim for repayment of VAT from the person concerned in respect of the period September/ October 1988 was received on 2 December 1988. Because the claim was incorrectly completed it was necessary to refer it to the local inspector of taxes for certification. Repayment of the claim, revised upwards, was made on 6 February 1989.
A claim in respect of the period November/December 1988 has not been received.
