Vol. 387 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital In-patient Cost.

84.

asked the Minister for Health whether a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who was a patient at St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, County Dublin, was charged the correct amount of money for an in-patient stay under the Health Charges Regulations, 1976; and if any refund is due in this case.

From the information I have received from the Eastern Health Board, I am satisfied that the charge levied on the person in question was fair and reasonable and was in accordance with the provisions of the Health (Charges for In-Patient Services) Regulations, 1976, as amended by the Health (Charges for In-Patient Services) Regulations, 1987.
