Vol. 387 No. 2

Written Answers. - VHI Payments.

83.

asked the Minister for Health the number of consultants and doctors who have received payments of over £5,000 from the VHI since the introduction of withholding tax on 6 June 1988; and the maximum payment made to any individual.

It is not possible, due to resource and operational constraints, for either the Revenue Commissioners or the Voluntary Health Insurance Board to abstract and compile the information sought by the Deputy.
