The existing position is that, with effect from 1 July 1986, health board pensioners may have their pensions revised to take account of all pay increases, whether general or special, with effect from the dates on which such increases are granted to serving staff. The calculation and payment of pensions, including increases in pensions, is a matter for each individual health board.
