The report of the International Study Group on Technological Education is now available to interested parties from the higher education authority. I have arranged for a copy to be sent to the Deputy.
As the Deputy is aware, the Government accepted the recommendation in the report regarding the conferring of university status on the National Institutes of Higher Education in Limerick and Dublin. The Government have not yet decided on its attitude to the other recommendations in the report.
