asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will consider launching, through the Anglo-Irish Conference, a joint media campaign against terrorism in Northern Ireland and the Republic with the aim of securing (1) rejection of terrorism and the mobilisation of the entire community in opposition to terrorist violence (2) the rejection of sectarian divisions and attitudes in both parts of Ireland and the promotion of a united community effort behind a programme for peace, dialogue and democracy within Northern Ireland and (3) the promotion of politics and political activity as the methods of resolving political differences in Northern Ireland.
