Vol. 387 No. 7

Written Answers. - Services for the Blind Report.

93.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he has read a report (details supplied) on services for the blind; and if so, if and when he will implement its recommendations.

I am aware of the recently published report to which the Deputy refers. The recommendations of the report, in so far as they relate to social welfare provision for blind people, would have major implications for the social welfare system. These recommendations are being considered at present.
