Vol. 387 No. 8

Written Answers. - Gas Spur Line.

70.

asked Minister for Energy the cost of providing a 10km spur line from the recent Dublin-Dundalk pipeline to service Dublin Airport; the projected annual volume of gas which will be sold through the spurline, identifying a volume which will be in the premium (gas, oil) displacing market; and the proportion which will be in the non-premium market.

The cost of the 10 km spur line from the Dublin-Dundalk pipeline to service Dublin Airport and other customers was £1.25 million. The volumes of gas to be supplied is a contractual commercial matter between BGE and their clients.
