A research project on stress in Irish nursing was commissioned by my Department from An Bord Altranais in 1985. The initial report on the project was presented in July 1988. As is standard practice in all such research projects, there was a process of assessment and review of the report. My Department will now be in touch with An Bord Altranais on the question of the report's publication.
