Vol. 388 No. 5

Written Answers. - Headford (County Galway) River Pollution.

197.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has any proposals to rectify the serious pollution problem at Clooneen River, Headford, County Galway due to discharge from the grossly defective sewage works at Headford; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Clooneen River discharges into Lough Corrib close to a pump-house which services a group water scheme and the town of Headford public water supply.

I refer the Deputy to Question No. 36 of 7 February 1989. The position is unchanged.
