EC Structural Funds assistance is being sought through the National Development Plan and a series of sectoral operational programmes. The sectoral operational programmes, are as follows: agricultural and rural development, telecommunications and postal services, energy, human resources: education, training and employment, industrial development, roads, sanitary and other local services, tourism and transport. It is not intended that details of programmes should be published at this stage.
It is a matter for the Ministers concerned to provide information in relation to the sectoral expenditures relevant to their areas of responsibility.
