asked the Minister for Communications the Acts or provisions of Acts passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas which relate to his Department and which have not yet come into operation because the necessary ministerial orders have not yet been made.

asked the Minister for the Marine the Acts or provisions of Acts passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas which relate to his Department and which have not come into operation because the necessary ministerial orders have not yet been made.

The only Act passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas relating to my Department and which has not yet come into operation is the Oil Pollution of the Sea (Civil Liability and Compensation) Act, 1988, which provides for Ireland's participation in the International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund (IOPCF).

The four separate ministerial orders which are required to bring the Act into operation will be made shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment the Acts or provisions of Acts passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas which relate to his Department and which have not yet come into operation because the necessary ministerial orders have not yet been made.

It would not be practicable, having regard to the time available and the extent of legislation for which my Department are responsible, to compile the information requested by the Deputy. However, if the Deputy is interested in a specific code of legislation, I would be happy to supply the information requested on receipt of the relevant details.
