asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Meath County Council for filter lights to be erected on the main Dublin/Kinnegad Road at Clonard, County Westmeath, to slow the traffic, having regard to the fact that there have been an increasing number of fatal accidents in the area over the past few years; when a decision will be made in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
