Vol. 392 No. 1

Written Answers. - Public Sales of Greyhounds.

145.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if there is any restriction which prevents the sale of greyhounds at public auction by licensed auctioneers.

Article 3 of the Public Sales of Greyhounds Regulations, 1966, made by Bord na gCon, provides that:

It shall not be lawful for any person to hold public sales of greyhounds save under and in accordance with a licence granted by the Board at its discretion.
