Vol. 392 No. 1

Written Answers. - National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin.

104.

asked the Minister for Finance the up-to-date situation regarding the restoration of the curvilinear range of glasshouses in the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin 9.

The Government approved the proposed restoration of these glasshouses in September 1989.

Planning of the scheme which had been hampered due to lack of funds has now recommenced and is proceeding as quickly as possible. It is anticipated that the restoration work will commence in the second half of 1990. It is too early in the planning process to give a more precise commencement date at this stage.
