asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list for each local authority and for each year since the abolition of domestic rates, the grant paid in lieu of domestic rates.

NOTE: Separate Domestic Rates Relief Grant allocations are not available for 1989. The Rate Support Grant allocation to each local authority in 1989 was a single gross allocation to cover the Domestic Rate relief grant, the grant in lieu of rates on land and the contribution in lieu of rates on Government property.
