Consequent on the need to use a larger bus for school transport purposes in the County Roscommon area in question, the person referred to by the Deputy could no longer be given a service to the family home, and now avails of the service at a pick-up point within six-tenths of a mile from home. This is considered by my Department to be a satisfactory level of service in the context of the general operation of the school transport scheme.
