Vol. 392 No. 7

Written Answers. - Visitor's Visa.

114.

asked the Minister for Justice if he received correspondence from Deputy Ruairí Quinn dated 10 July 1989 and 29 August 1989 on behalf of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24; the reason no reply has been given to that correspondence; if he will grant a visitor's visa to the person involved to visit their family in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A reply in relation to the matter in question has recently issued to the Deputy. The delay in replying to the representation is regretted.

The persons concerned have submitted applications for visas on two occasions in the past ten months. These visas were refused in accordance with law.
