Vol. 393 No. 4

Written Answers. - Baldonnel (Dublin) Aerodrome.

46.

asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if any study has been carried out as to the possibility of using Baldonnel Aerodrome, County Dublin, as a second civil airport or joint military-civil airport; and if he will have a feasibility study for such a project carried out.

The question of using Baldonnel Aerdrome as a joint military-civil airport was considered earlier this year but was ruled out for military and security reasons. There is no change in that position and I see no case for a feasibility study.
