Vol. 393 No. 8

Written Answers. - National Lottery Allocations.

151.

asked the Minister for the Environment when application forms will be made available to the various county councils to enable organisations to submit applications for national lottery funding.

I assume that the question relates to applications under the new amenity/recreational facilities grant scheme. All applications already made to my Department under the amenity grant scheme or to the Department of Education under the recreational facilities grant scheme are being transmitted to the relevant local authorities for consideration under the new scheme. There is no need for fresh applications in these cases.

Any new applications should be addressed to the relevant county council, county borough council or Dún Laoghaire Corporation and should be accompanied by a completed "fact sheet", copies of which may be obtained from the local authority concerned. The local authorities have been asked to make their recommendations on all applications not later than 15 January 1990.
