asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the steps he has taken to ensure that FOB feedstuffs do not contain offal from cattle affected by bovine spongiform encephalopathy.

Legislation I introduced earlier this year provides for the destruction of the carcases of animals affected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). The importation of feedstuffs containing animals offals from Great Britain is not permitted.
