Vol. 394 No. 6

Appropriation Bill, 1989: All Stages.

A Cheann Comhairle——

Is it on this subject matter?

On this subject of the Appropriation Bill I want to record the opposition of The Workers' Party Members——

Deputy Rabbitte, it has already been agreed by this House that the matter be taken without debate. I regret I cannot hear you.

I want to record the manner in which the Bill has been included without being circulated.

The Deputy understands fully that when it is decided to take a matter without debate it means without debate.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to appropriate to the proper supply services and purposes sums granted by the Central Fund (Permanent Provisions) Act, 1965.
(Minister for Finance).
Agreed to take remaining Stages today.
Question: "That the Bill be now read a Second Time" put and agreed to.
Bill put through Committee, reported without amendment and passed.

This Bill is certified a Money Bill in accordance with Article 22 of the Constitution.

A Cheann Comhairle——

Sorry, without debate. Resume your seat Deputy.

I wanted to——

No, Deputy. If you intervene again I shall have to treat with you.

Deputy McCartan——

Please Deputy. If the Deputy intervenes again and violates a ruling of this House raised earlier this morning I shall have to deal with him appropriately.
