Question:306 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment if he intends introducing legislation controlling the felling of trees near public roads to ensure that the public are protected.

While I am not aware of any significant problems in this area, I will consider the inclusion of appropriate provision in a comprehensive Roads Bill which I intend to introduce within a few months.
