95 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to establish a regional technical college or other third level institution in County Wexford; if she is satisfied with the degree of third level participation from County Wexford; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

There are no plans to establish a regional technical college or other third level institution in County Wexford. While the participation in the county was somewhat below the national average in 1986 it had improved significantly since 1980 and I would expect there has been continued improvement since then.
