Question:

133 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for the Environment if motor drivers in the Republic will be obliged to drive on the right side of the road after 1992 in conformity with EC road traffic rules; and if the Government propose to introduce regulations to put this into effect.

The EC Commission, which is the appropriate body for initiating proposals to change Community law, has no proposal to initiate the change indicated by the Deputy.
