Vol. 395 No. 1

Written Answers. - Sale of Great Southern Hotels.

Emmet Stagg

Question:

166 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if he considers that the sale of the Great Southern Hotels would have any impact on the maintenance of tourism standards.

Matters relating to the operation, standards and ownership of the Great Southern Hotels are the responsibility of the Minister for Labour. I have no reason to believe that the question of the ownership of the hotels in question would, of itself, have a direct impact on standards.
