33 Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her current intentions in relation to school transport services; in particular, if any proposals still exist for privatisation of the service; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Bus Éireann has been charged by Government with responsibility for the operation of the school transport system. There are no proposals under consideration for the privatisation of the system.
