Vol. 395 No. 2

Written Answers. - Imprisonment of Irish Woman in France.

Tony Gregory

Question:

65 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will make representations to the French authorities on behalf of a young Irish prisoner (details supplied); and if he will ask that they agree to her very reasonable request that she be assigned to a cell on her own.

I am prepared to have appropriate representations made to the French authorities as soon as I receive an indication from the citizen in question or her family that they would wish me to do so.
