Question:94 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Marine the amount of the grant provided for the development of Foynes Harbour in County Limerick.

As I advised the Deputy in my reply to his parliamentary question of 29 November 1989, a project to provide mooring dolphins, shore connections and new cargo handling equipment is included in the National Development Plan. The amount of aid for this project cannot be finalised until the peripherality programme is approved by the EC. Approval of the peripherality programme is expected shortly.
