Vol. 395 No. 6

Written Answers. - Medical Treatment.

Gerry Reynolds

Question:

184 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange for immediate treatment of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo who has a severe heart condition and who was called to the Mater Hospital, Dublin 7 for an angiogram on 29 November, but which was cancelled without notice on that day; as a result she has lost her job due to ill health; and if it is not possible to arrange the test for the Mater Hospital, he will investigate the possibility of it being carried out in Galway as a matter of urgency.

I am informed by the Mater Hospital authorities that the person concerned has been contacted by the hospital and that arrangements were made to have the person concerned admitted to the hospital on 11 February 1990.
