Question:

217 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education the schools in County Limerick which were allocated posts under the special scheme of teaching assistance for schools serving disadvantaged areas; the number of applications which were received; and the locations of such schools.

There are currently 12 schools in County Limerick which are included in the special scheme of teaching assistance for schools serving disadvantaged areas. All of these schools have one concessionary teaching post each. These schools are listed hereunder.
