Question:

108 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in Limerick is entitled to all or part of her husband's pension.

Under the terms of the widows and childrens ex-gratia pension scheme for non-established State employees, this person may qualify for a pension equal to half of her late husband's pension, which would be payable from the date following the date of his death.

The necessary form has been issued to enable her apply for pension.
