142 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Labour if he will make arrangements to have the decibel level of the Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann bells measured, separately and together, to ascertain if they are in breach of EC standards and consequently damaging to the human ear; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The matter raised by the Deputy is concerned with day-to-day activities of the National Authority for Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH). I would suggest, therefore, that he contact the NAOSH directly about it.
