Question:76 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Energy the total fund which is available to farmers under the new forest premium scheme for 1990; and the areas where it will apply.
Written Answers. - Forest Premium Scheme.
An allocation of £60,000 has been provided in the 1990 Estimates to cover forest premium payments to farmers who planted in the second half of 1989 — between 18 June (the commencement date of the scheme) and 31 December 1989. The scheme applies throughout the country.
