Question:69 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Justice the number of gardaí who are deployed in ministerial driving and security duties from the Garda districts of Coolock and Raheny, Dublin 5, and Howth, Dublin 13.
Written Answers. - Gardaí on Security Duties.
Having regard to security considerations, it would not be in the public interest for me to indicate the number of gardaí from any particular station who are engaged on security duties at any particular time, but I can say that ministerial drivers are based at Garda headquarters and are not part of the strength of individual stations.
