74 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Education whether she has had any discussions with her counterparts in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland on the effects of the Education (Student Loans) Bill on access to higher education in Northern Ireland.
I have not yet had any discussions with my counterparts in the UK or Northern Ireland about this issue. I understand, however, that my colleague, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, is availing of the machinery of the Anglo-Irish Agreement to pursue the matter with the UK authorities.
