76 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to problems with the central heating at St. Aidan's Community School, Brookfield, and Jobstown Community College, Dublin 24; and, if so, the steps she proposes to take to deal with the problem.
My Department has been informed by the school authorities of continuing difficulties with the heating system in the schools in question. The Department's consultant engineers who designed the system have been asked to examine the matter and to submit proposals for remedial works. When their recommendation is received appropriate arrangements will be made to have the problem rectified.
