P. J. Sheehan

Question:

34 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive payment of a ewe premium.

An advance payment of the 1989 ewe premium will be paid to the person named shortly. The balance will be paid when payments commence in July 1990 if an inspection of his flock shows that he has complied with the terms and conditions of the scheme.

Question:

35 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a special beef premium and a calf premium will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The person named has already been paid his 1989 EC special beef premium and calf premium scheme grants.

36 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a headage grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Payments to this applicant under the 1989 cattle and equines headage, calf, suckler cow and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

37 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when cow grants, bullock grants and other headage grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Payments to this applicant under the 1989 special beef and suckler cow premium schemes have already been made. Payment under the 1989 beef cow and equines headage scheme is being processed and will issue shortly.

38 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a slatted house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

I expect this grant to be paid within the next few weeks.
