Vol. 396 No. 9

Written Answers. - County Cork School.

Peter Barry

Question:

191 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Education when final payments will be made for the extension of the Morning Star school, Ballyphehane, Cork; and the reason for the delay in this case.

The vast bulk of the grant in respect of the extension to Ballyphehane Boy's national school, County Cork has been paid to the school authorities. A very small balance of grant had to be withheld pending the making good of defects and omissions in the mechanical and electrical installations. While some of the items in the electrical installations have not been attended to my Department's primary building branch are currently examining the final account.
