Question:

106 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Labour the number of persons notified to his Department as having been made redundant by Ballyclough Creameries, County Cork, in respect of (a) 1988 and (b) 1989.

The number of persons who were made redundant by Ballyclough Co-Op Creamery Limited, County Cork, and in respect of whom claims for rebate of statutory redundancy lump sums to employees were received by my Department was as following: 1988, 81; 1989, 19.
