Question:

148 Mr. Roche asked the Minister for the Environment the estimated total of grant assistance being sought on schemes which have been submitted by each local authority for support from national lottery funds; the total amount available to him for distribution among such schemes in the current year.

Michael Finucane

Question:

155 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Environment if all applications under the amenities-recreational facilities grants scheme in 1990 which were financed from national lottery funds have been returned; the total number of applications; the total estimated value.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 148 and 155 together. I have received submissions under the amenities-recreational facilities scheme, 1990 from all the local authorities involved. The amount available for allocation under the scheme this year is £5.5 million.
