Vol. 397 No. 3

Written Answers. - EC Presidency Travel Costs.

Alan M. Dukes

Question:

167 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for the Environment the projected cost of foreign travel on commercial airlines by him while engaged in EC Presidency duties for the first half of this year.

To date, the cost of my foreign travel on commercial airlines while engaged on EC Presidency duties is £905. The Government jet may, depending on availability, be used on some or all of further such travel and, accordingly, it is not possible to be specific as to the extent to which further fares will be payable to commercial airlines.
