Question:52 Mr. G. Brady asked the Minister for Finance the cost of the recent refurbishment of the Members' Library in the Houses of the Oireachtas.
Written Answers. - Refurbishment of Library.
The refurbishment of the Members' Library was undertaken as part of the overall refurbishment of the North Wing of Leinster House. It would not be possible without committing an inordinate amount of staff time to isolate the costs attributable to the library from the overall cost of the scheme. However, and examination of the records show that the cost of the refurbishment of the Members' Library was approximately £135,000.
