Written Answers. - Central Mental Hospital Dundrum.

Question:

88 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he has any proposals to demolish the Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum, Dublin 14, in view of a report drawn up by the Eastern Health Board which proposed that the hospital should be demolished and that a new purpose built building be provided in its place.

The Eastern Health Board, in consultation with my Department are at present reviewing the operation of the Central Mental Hospital Dundrum, including the use of all buildings within the hospital complex.
