Vol. 397 No. 7

Written Answers. - Teachers' Health Survey.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

107 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the findings of a survey (details supplied) concerning cholesterol levels and blood pressure among teachers; if she is concerned at the findings; if she will, as a matter of urgency, initiate her own research among teachers with particular emphasis on the effect of lunch time breaks in national schools in terms of diet and stress on teachers, the need for ancillary staff for lunch time supervision and pressures related to the points system at secondary level; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I have not seen the report of the survey in question.
