311 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education when she will approve a tender in respect of the co-educational secondary school at Kilcock, County Kildare; if work will commence in the current year; if sufficient funds are available to allow the work to proceed in the current year; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
On 7 March last I approved of the invitation of tenders by the school authorities for the proposed new co-educational secondary school at Kilcock, County Kildare. As the school authorities are the client for this project, I am not in a position to indicate when tenders will be accepted and construction work commence.
Provision has been made for such expenditure as will arise on this project during the course of the year.
