Vol. 398 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Kilkenny Hospital Treatment.

Phil Hogan

Question:

132 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health when a hip operation will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The admission of a patient to hospital is primarily a matter for the hospital authority, in this case, the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the South Eastern Health Board for a report in this instance and the board has indicated that this patient has been listed for admission to Kilcreene Orthopaedic Hospital on 17 May 1990, and has been notified accordingly.
