Question:57 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Labour the reason for the delay in the payment of a minimum notice payment to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and when payment will be made.
Written Answers. - Minimum Notice Payment.
Disputes regarding entitlement to notice under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act, 1973, should in the first instance be referred to the Employment Appeals Tribunal. I understand that the tribunal have not received a claim from the employee involved in this case. My Department will advise the employee directly of the procedure involved in making such a claim.
