Vol. 398 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers - Disabled Driver's Scheme.

Tom Kitt

Question:

20 Mr. T. Kitt asked the Minister for Finance if his Department will introduce measures to reduce the transport costs for persons (details supplied) in Dublin 16.

I understand that the Deputy is referring to the disabled drivers' scheme. Neither my Department nor the Revenue Commissioners have received any applications from the family in question under the scheme. However, the family have been in contact with my Department by telephone and when an application is received it will be dealt with in a sympathetic manner.
