Question:

113 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Energy if he will outline in respect of his Department (a) the number of special advisers (other than career civil servants) appointed, (b) their names, (c) their remuneration and (d) whether the appointments are on a full or part-time basis.

Mr. Patrick O'Malley has been appointed in a temporary capacity to this Department as special adviser on a full-time basis at a salary of £30,000 per annum.
